No, definitely not what we want. Having some interesting redirect issues. So the correct address, now, is

I feel your pain. I too sort of moved my blog in the past. I didn’t really move servers, but I went from not using WordPress to using WordPress. I simply made a new subdomain ( for WordPress and just started reposting my stuff. It seems like that is what you are doing also.

Actually, I think it worked out ok. I got to just take the old posts I liked and I posted them at a time I was busy with other stuff. This way I was able to maintain a consistent post rate by ‘cheating’. I consider my old blog (which still has some stuff I can repost) to be like a blog post capacitor.

Yes, everything should be working now (sorry things were wonky while we were working out the redirect). Yes, we did just what you did, Rhett, and made and redirected the there. So things should be seamless for my users now. Not planning to repost old postings (but that’s very time efficient of you!), since to an outside user, it should just look pretty much the same.

But please do update your blogroll with the new, so all that good google juice goes to me directly. Thanks!
